More Patient StoriesShawn has 25 years of experience in surgery. She has been assisting Dr. Shaw with surgical procedures for over 3 years and brings a wealth of experience and compassion to every patient she cares for. Shawn is dual certified as an RN Peri-Operative Nurse (CNOR) and a Certified Registered Nurse First Assist (CRNFA). Shawn especially values being part of patients’ journeys—supporting them through personal decisions and celebrating their happiness with their results. Shawn loves the outdoors and all kinds of music. Shawn enjoys spending time with her family and traveling, devoting time to surgical mission trips in El Salvador and Bolivia.
